Concerned Citizens

Today I watched the funeral mass and ceremonies for the late Sen. Ted Kennedy. As many Americans I felt the loss of this Lion of the Senate. He did so much for our country even in light of his own adversity. He never gave up the fight for Americans. Today the NY Times provide even more insight to the life of Sen. Kennedy and his wife Vicki. Sen. Kennedy did so much for this nation, even with the label of liberal. David Brooks provided a great opinion piece about how Sen. Kennedy recognized the need for incremental change and compromised on many issues to make sure the common good was advanced. Yet, in light of the remembrance of the legacy of Sen. Kennedy a two bit blog from Houston feels the need to degrade Sen. Kennedy. Right Wing Sparkle today decided to publish degradation and forget the good of Sen. Kennedy. To quote the blog author “The more I see the slobbering over Kennedy on the MSM, the more I am convinced that people who don’t remember need to know the truth about Kennedy. We should not honor the dishonorable.” I am sorry but apparently the hard core right does not seem to understand the good of a man even if presented.
